The Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers clash in Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinal series on Tuesday at the Staples Center (10:35 pm ET, TNT).

Los Angeles is a -300 moneyline, 5.5-point favorite and the over/under total is 199 in NBA Odds.

The defending NBA champion Lakers lead the best-of-seven series 1-0 after winning the opener Sunday in LA.

Like with a lot of teams, the Lakers have a stellar record straight up but not so much against the point spread when facing Utah. Against the Jazz, LA is 8-2 SU in the past 10 but just 5-5 ATS.

Such was the case Sunday, when the Lakers defeated Utah 104-99 in Game 1 of their West semifinal, but failed to cash as a 7-point home favorite. The score went over the over/under total of 198.

Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 31 points for the Lakers and Pau Gasol added 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win.

Deron Williams led Utah with 24 points and eight assists, while Carlos Boozer had 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Utah was 53-29 SU and 49-30-3 ATS this season and Los Angeles was 57-25 SU and 34-46-2 ATS.

Seven of the past eight have gone under the total.

Utah is 5-1 ATS in its last six games overall. The Lakers are 5-0 SU in their last five games overall at home, and 5-0 SU in their last five games when playing at home against Utah.
