The Indianapolis Colts continue their quest for a perfect season when they visit the Jacksonville Jaguars in a battle of AFC south rivals Thursday (8:20 pm ET, NFL Network).
The Colts are a -160 moneyline, 3-point favorite and the over/under is 43 in NFL Lines at betED.com.
Indianapolis has been solid against the Jaguars over the past 10 meetings – at least straight-up. Against the spread, however, the Colts are just 3-7 over the past 10 head-to-head.
The division rivals last squared off on Sept. 13 this season, when Indy edged the Jags 14-12, failing to cover as 6-point home favorites. The score went well below the total of 45.
The teams last met in Jacksonville on Dec. 18 last season, a 31-24 Colts win as 5.5-point road favorites.
The total has gone over in six of the past eight meetings in Jacksonville.
Last week, the Colts defeated the Denver Broncos 28-16 as a 6.5-point favorite, with the score going over the total of 43.5. Peyton Manning passed for 220 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions for the Colts.
The Jaguars, meanwhile, lost to the Miami Dolphins 14-10 as a 2-point favorite. The score fell under the over/under total of 43. David Garrard threw for 139 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions for Jacksonville.
Indianapolis is 13-0 SU and 9-4 ATS and has won 13 straight games. Jacksonville is 7-6 SU and 5-8 ATS.
Indianapolis is 5-0 SU and ATS in its past five on the road. Jacksonville is 5-1 SU in its last six games at home.
