Bulldogs, Spartans open Final Four

The NCAA Tournament Final Four round starts Saturday with the Michigan State Spartans and the Butler Bulldogs battling at Lucas Oil Stadium (6:05 pm ET, CBS).

Final Four Betting Odds at betED.com have the Bulldogs as a 1-point favorite and the over/under total at 126.

Both teams are coming off big upset wins in the Elite Eight round last weekend.

Michigan State upset the Tennessee Volunteers 70-69 as a 2-point underdog in their Elite Eight round matchup. The score went over the over/under total (135.5).

Durrell Summers netted a game-high 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting for the Spartans, while Raymar Morgan added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win.

The Bulldogs advanced to the Final Four with a 63-56 upset win over the Kansas State Wildcats in their Elite Eight matchup. Butler won that game as 4-point underdogs, while the teams played under the total of 134.5.

Gordon Hayward led Butler with a game-high 22 points, while hauling down eight rebounds. Shelvin Mack chipped in with 16 points and seven rebounds in the win.

Michigan State is 28-8 straight up and 15-20 against the point spread while Butler is 32-4 SU and 16-20 ATS.

Michigan State is 7-1 SU in its last eight games and 4-2 ATS in its last six games.

Butler is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five games, and the total has gone under in five of Butler’s last six games.
